Welcome to NSJOF new program: Because I am an Orphan.

Because I am an Orphan I lack so many things. (BION)

"If given a chance, an orphan can change our world for better." Said founder Peter Garang Deng

In the state of Jonglei of South Sudan and South Sudan in general orphans suffer the most. Because he/she is an orphan child, he/she is more likely to suffer from diseases, hunger, and malnutrition, subjected to life on the street, no education, and clean water. Because he/she is an orphan, he/she has limited access to the basic needs. This is a heartbreaking to imagine or to see what orphans are going through but given your support; we can change their lives for better.

NSJOF Initiative: Because I am an Orphan is launched on February 11th, 2013 with a mission to create sustainable projects in Jonglei state of South Sudan to give orphans access to education, local schools in Bortown, food, healthcare, clean water and protect them from abuse. If given a chance, an orphan can change our world and so this program was created to do just that, give orphans chance to have access to the things they wouldn’t have without this program in place. Because I am an Orphan very much focus raising funds to build small center in Bortown of Jonglei state while providing orphans on waiting with clothes, shoes, food and healthcare while they wait for the chance to be sponsor to school when funding become available.

We ask that you make a commitment to support our 2013 appeal for Because I am an Orphan by making a donation. This year our goal is to raise $20,000 for this program and we hope that you will be able to make a contribution. Your generosity will make a difference in our organization and community by allowing us to effectively initiate Because I am an Orphan in Bortown of Jonglei state of South Sudan and to continue our orphans’ sponsorship program. NSJOF Initiative: Because I am an Orphan provide kids on the waiting list with clothes, shoes, food and healthcare while they wait for the chance to be sponsor to boarding schools. This program was tested in November 2012 in Bortown in Jonglei state and it made a huge difference in the lives of those orphans on our waiting list and received the clothes.  See photos below
