Our Mission

The mission of New Sudan Jonglei Orphans Foundation (NSJOF) is to raise money and provide scholarships to the orphaned children of Jonglei State in South Sudan, to achieve a better life through education. To provide funding for education, and educational services to orphaned children in Jonglei State in order to make children productive members and future leaders of their communities.

Our Values:

To dramatically improve the long-term lives and values of orphans to ensure that orphans are not left behind in education. The NSJOF is committed to raising funds and helping orphans by providing scholarships to them so that they can learn and become educated people in the future.

♦ Solidarity                    ♦ Trust

♦ Equality                      ♦ Equity

♦ Sustainability              ♦ Progress

♦ Pluralism                     ♦ Networking

Currently NSJOF is working on three goals:

♦ To provide funding for educational services for orphaned children in the Jonglei area of South Sudan.

♦ To provide orphans with the necessary support they need to become tomorrow’s leaders.

♦ To raise funds from public and private sources in order to build our capacity to support more orphaned children in future.

Our objectives:

In order to accomplish the goals mentioned above, NSJOF is focused on the following objectives:

♦ To develop a strong sponsorship program to build the capacity to sponsor orphaned children to be able to go to good affordable schools.

♦ To sponsor as many orphans as the funding allow.

Use of Funds

NSJOF is committed to it mission statement and it is doing so by the way it use the donations received from donors. Of every dollar amount raise or received through generous donation, 80% is used toward the mission and 20% is used for administrative expense. This is one of the many things that differentiate NSJOF from others nonprofit organizations that are helping people in South Sudan. Here at NSJOF we know how hardly you work for the dollar that you donate to us and that is why we work hard to keep our administrative expense at 20% or even lower as we can.

We are working hard to improve the futures of orphaned children in Southern Sudan and are doing this by sponsoring them to schools. If you are one of the people who would like to support this mission financially, please click on the "Donate" above on the menu bar. If you would like more information or want to meet with people who are operating NSJOF, click on "Contact Us" in the menu bar above.
